Claret Red Vintage Cotton Velvet Curtain

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. These are extremely heavy, lined velvet draperies that block light very well. Reminded me of draperies you might see in a theater. The color is a dark, warm red, as shown. I bought 4 panels and the color of all four matched perfectly. The quality was absolutely satisfactory. The room looks like a Hollywood set now, very rich. I used mine in an entry hall with multiple windows and wrought iron rods??1' ones. Don't think I'd try to hang these on the cheaper telescoping type rods, unless you had a very narrow window. They're HEAVY. The draperies came with a band for drapery hooks on top??absolutely necessary. I think that the product description says that hooks were not included, but they were in all the panels I ordered. I was afraid that the placement of the hooks in the middle of the band would cover up the ring on the rod, which I wanted to show. It covered some of it, not all. I'm pleased. I used a professional for this installation, since the measuring involved was too much for this brain and the draperies were heavy to lift. (Also, one set of rods went around a corner at 90 degrees.) Hiring someone who knew what he was doing really helped. This would have killed me and taken my husband a long time. Highly recommended product.

A fantastic value! I have these drapes in Espresso and loved them so much that I bought them for my Mom in Burgundy. They are heavy and rich and well-made. I've never found drapes of this quality at such a great price. If they came in more colors, I'd probably buy more!

PERFECT!!!!!!!! I am a sewmstress who HATES making large drapes. Our living room had been "drapeless" for 22 years until I decided to buy these. I AM THRILLED!!!! I figured on a 2 1/2- times window width for thickness. I bought an extra single panel, thinking I would need it on one window, but the fabric is so thick that it wasn't necessary. Allowing for a 2 -times width would have been fine. This is NOT thin dress velvet! (Instead of sending it back I'm going to make matching pillows.)These drapes have transformed the room. The material is wonderful and the workmanship is superior. They are beautiful, warm , and just lovely. Everyone who sees them is impressed.

Decadent Deep Red. These panels = fabulous! The color is rich and vibrant! An expensive and custom look at an half price. I bought them for my living and dinner rooms. Well made and true to color from the website! Elegant.

QUALITY!! I HUNG THEM IN OUR NEW OFFICES AND THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL! VERY GOOD QUALITY AND GOOD WINE/RED COLOR. I WAS GOING FOR THE GUNSMOKE/BROTHEL LOOK AND THAT IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. ONE THING IS THAT THE BACKINGS ARE WHITE AND YOU CAN REALLY NOTICE THEM FROM OUTSIDE. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, THEY ARE GREAT. MAKE SURE YOU ORDER ENOUGH PANELS TO HAVE THEM LOOK FULL. I JUST ORDERED 3 MORE AND I STILL NEED 4 WHEN THEY HAVE MORE IN STOCK.

Regal The combination of the heavy velvet they are made of, and the deep rich red color, make these drapes look very regal in my formal living room. I absolutely love them, a great value for the money.

Rich, quality fabric! Very impressed with the quality of the luxurious velvet. The color is also dense and jewel-like. Well made. includes 's' pins and a rod pocket, so you have hanging options, too. The panels are shorter in width, however, than expected. make sure you measure your space twice before selecting your size! These panels are also lined well, and will surely insulate the space as well. Overall a very good value!
