Maplewood Textured Dupioni Silk Curtain

Looks like you spent $$$ when you didn't I just finished hanging these panels yesterday and they are just as nice as the other reviews have described. Be aware that they will have a light gold cast - could be the silk or it could be the cream-colored backing or felt inside giving them a slight coloring. The construction of the panels is really quality - they have wide hems and rod pockets taping at the top to allow for hooks felt interlining and weights in the bottom hem. I have sewn my own draperies before and I could not have made these panels for the price. I purchased four panels for a bay window and hung them with sheers also purchased on this site. Rather than buying a specially made bay window rod I purchased three inexpensive rods ($12 each) at a discount retailer and removed the finials except on the outermost rod ends. By threading vinyl tubing inside the rods where they met at the bay corners and securing the joints with duct tape I made my own very inexpensively.

High End WOW- I cannot say enough how beautiful these drapes are. I know the price seems high but trust me if you're on the fence make the splurge and you won't be sorry! I've been looking for over 8 months for silk dupioni draperies that wouldn't kill my budget since I needed 6 panels and these have exceeded my expectations. I almost purchased the ***** drapes for close to double the price and if you've seen them you know that they are not nearly as fully lined as these ones are. These are lined AND interlined which not only helps with energy efficiency but also preserves the life and beauty of the silk over time. As other reviewers have noted they are heavy so be sure you anchor your rod. The silk is of high quality as you can tell by the slubs in the panels- (note to some- they are not snags and if you're familiar with dupioni you know this is part of its natural beauty). The color is pretty true to the photo. It does have a hint of gold undertones but overall an accurate beige with gorgeous texture and just the right amount of shine/shimmer without being gaudy looking. Excellent buy again from Overstock- thank you for offering quality and affordability!!

wonderful curtains I had been looking for good quality thick curtains for rmy bedroom. I even got some from Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware but had to return those... they were not thick enough. These are perfect and looks wonderful.
