Works great for blocking out sun. Great! They block out the reflection of sun from our tv perfectly. Look nice. You can see sun shining through them. They aren't blackout but do a pretty good job such they are a heavy knit. Not that great at insulating but better than nothing. Look expensive. Don't ruffle in the best way because they are such a heavy knit but thats okay for now.
