Our Return Policy

Half Price Drapes wants you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We hope you will order something you will love for years to come. If you receive an item that you do not wish to keep, we are here to assist you.

Half Price Drapes warranties our products against all defects including manufacturing and workmanship. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 30 days of receipt of the order, and we will replace it at no cost to you.

Before placing your return, please check if your item is eligible for return, as some items may be featured as Final Sale or No Return or subject to additional return restrictions. You can find this information in the item specific sections below, so you may review it before making your purchase.

All returned items must be returned in their original packaging, including all tags and without any damage. Refunds for returns go to the original form of payment less fees that are item dependent to include, but not limited to shipping & handling and restocking fees. For details on return shipping and fees, please refer to the item specific sections below. We process refunds within 2 business days after receiving the returned item in our warehouse.

Ready Made Return Policy

Items featured on our website as Ready Made are items kept in stock. These items can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt of the order. Once an RMA is issued you have 14 days to return the item back to us.

For an easy return by mail, use our return shipping label provided online with the return authorization and drop off the item at the shipping carrier indicated on your return label. A return shipping and handling fee of 10% of the purchase price of the returned items will be deducted from your refund. Items that are not returned in their original packaging and in their original condition may be subjected to an additional restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price of the returned items. No restocking fee applies on damaged or defective items returned under warranty.

Roller and Cellular Shades:

Roller and Cellular Shades are considered custom items as they are made to a customer’s specifications, without exception. Roller and Cellular shades can be returned for a partial refund within 30 days of the receipt of the order. Half Price Drapes will retain 50% of the purchase price for all returned shades.

A return shipping and handling fee of 10% of the purchase price of the returned items will be deducted from your refund. Custom & Made to Order Items:

Items featured on our website as Custom or Made To Order are items that are made to a customer’s specifications. These items can be returned for a partial refund within 30 days of the receipt of the order. Half Price Drapes will retain 50% of the purchase price for custom and made to order items that are returned to us.

For an easy return by mail, use our return shipping label provided online with the return authorization and drop off the item at the shipping carrier indicated on your return label. A return shipping and handling fee of 10% of the purchase price of the returned items will be deducted from your refund. Hardware:

Metal and Wooden Hardware can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt of the item. Once an RMA is issued you have 14 days to return the item back to us.

HPD Sales Outlet

Items featured as “Final Sale” or “No Return” in the Sales Outlet are not eligible for a refund or credit. The rest of the items featured in the Sales Outlet can be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt of the item. Once an RMA is issued you have 14 days to return the item back to us.

A return shipping and handling fee of 10% of the purchase price of the returned items will be deducted from your refund. Damaged Items

Half Price Drapes warranties our products against all defects including manufacturing and workmanship with a limited warranty. Should the product be defective, Half Price Drapes will, at its sole discretion, refund or replace the defective item. A restocking fee does not apply on damaged or defective items. We ask that you notify us within 30 days of receiving your product.

The following items are not covered by the warranty:

  • Dry Cleaning
  • Alterations
  • Accidents
  • Exposure to the elements
  • Normal wear & tear. Such as normal fading from sunlight, fraying of fabric, loss of color intensity, damage from water, inspects or pets, deterioration of operation mechanisms over time.

Need to Return an Item?

To initiate a return on any of our item, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your item(s) for product-specific return procedures. Once an RMA is issued you have 14 days to return the item back to us.

Price Protection Policy: Buy with confidence from Half Price Drapes. If an item you have purchased from Half Price Drapes goes on sale for a lower price within 10 days of your purchase we will refund the difference.  Customers must notify us of the price difference within the 10 day window in order to receive the discounted price.  Please feel free to contact Customer Service regarding retroactive coupon pricing and refunds, by phone at 866.413.7273 or email us at customerservice@halfpricedrapes.com.

Please note:  Refunds may take up to 10 business days to be processed by our accounting department.  Your bank then has up to 2 billing cycles to post your refund.  Please contact your bank if your credit does not appear on your bank statement with in 2 billing cycles.

All prices on this web site are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-date information, occasionally, one or more items on our web site may be mis-priced. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Half Price Drapes shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish.
