We gather four types of information: public, private, communicative, and automatic.
Public information will include that information available for registered members to view, or demographic information. Communicative information is exclusive between the parties involved in some form of communication through the Site. Information such as your internal messaging conversations, instant messages, email messages to our service personnel, submission of answers to surveys, and participation in contests are considered communicative information.
We store your messages for the purpose of our anonymous internal messaging system. Just like email, messages must be stored somewhere in order to deliver them. We allow you to utilize our internal messaging system so that you may remain anonymous by not giving up your email address to other members. Our Messenger works much the same way.
We acquire information from our surveys so that we can better understand our members and continually improve our service.
Contest information (such as your contact information) is collected so that we may contact our contestants with information regarding the contest. Automatic information is information that we collect that is not personally identifiable such as your IP address, site usage and purchase behavior, browser type, browser activity, and browser settings. None of this information discloses any of your personal information.
We use your IP and/or Mac address to avoid fraudulent registrations, and monitor site usage demographics and dynamics. Sharing of Information
As a member of the Site, you are also a member of the Relationship Exchange and therefore your profile is displayed on all Relationship Exchange websites. While data from all member sites is maintained in a common database, only the public information located in your profile will be shared throughout the Relationship Exchange. Made To Order: Curtains, Draperies & Accessories
Curtains and Drapes indicated as Made to Order on the website means that we do not carry given size in stock. Made to Order products are made upon order placement. Customers will have 24 hours from placing a Made to Order to cancel. For orders canceled after 24 hours from placement a non-refundable 50% deposit will be retained by Half Price Drapes. Half Price Drapes guarantees all Custom Products against any defects in material or workmanship. In the event of a defect, Half Price Drapes will, at our discretion, repair or re-make the item(s) at our expense. These items can be returned within 30 Days from receipt of merchandise for a refund. Custom (Made To Measure): Curtains, Draperies, Cushion Covers & Roman Shades
Curtains, Drapes & Roman Shades that are Custom (Made to Measure) are made to each customer specifications. These products CANNOT be returned. Half Price Drapes guarantees all Custom Products against defects in material or workmanship. In the event of a defect, Half Price Drapes will, at our discretion, repair or re-make the item(s) at our expense.
Drapery Hardware & Home Accessories
Please note drapery hardware & home accessories can be returned, unless specifically marked, for a refund within 30 days of the receipt of the order. All items must be returned in the original packaging. A 25% restocking fee will be charged for all drapery hardware & home accessories.
Returns are accepted on Pre-Packed Wooden Hardware Sets. Returns accepted on full sets only.

Periodically, HPD offers our customers some exceptional values in clearance sales. All curtains, drapes, hardware and accessories that are offered in such sales or marked as "Buy 1 Get 1 FREE" or "Clearance" are considered FINAL SALE and are non-returnable.
**Color Variations: Please note that the appearance of the color of the drapes can vary from one computer monitor to another, and actual fabric color may also be of a different hue as each dye lot differs slightly. We do provide swatches for most of our fabrics and we recommend customers purchase swatches prior to placing an order to minimize the possibility of getting an unexpected color.
Furniture: Occasional Chairs
Furniture can be returned within 30 Days of receipt. You must obtain an RMA# (Return Mail Authorization) to start your return process. Please call 1.866.413.7273 to speak with someone in Customer Service.
If you receive your order damaged, please contact us prior to returning the items. Half Price Drapes will not reimburse you for unauthorized shipping expenses incurred.
Furniture items must be properly packaged in the original shipping containers and packaging materials. Shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer. If you choose to return a furniture item, Half Price Drapes will not reimburse you for any shipping expenses.
You can return the merchandise through the mail for a refund or store credit (if applicable), or replacement. You must call 1-866-413-7273 to obtain an RMA #. It must be written on the outside of the package for reference and acceptance. To make a return by mail, send your package along with the original invoice and "Return Authorization Form" that you received with your merchandise. Indicate the reason for the return and the action you are requesting to be taken, such as replacement or refund. Be sure to keep a copy for your records. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
