Beautiful curtains! Not only are they black out but they also are gorgeous. I bought these because at times my husband has to work night shift and they totally black out the room while he sleeps during the day. Would totally recommend!...

Beautiful! I ordered the navy curtains for my bedroom. I have a lot of windows and they face the east. I wanted complete blackout and these are it! I'm sure the dark color helps a lot, so I am not sure how the lighter color curtains would do. But these curtains are very heavy and look expensive. I would say they are very well made. Worth the buy!...

I purchased the ivory. These panels are worth the price. They block out a great amount of light. Even in the middle of the day, I was impressed with how dark it was in my rooms. They very nicely and are high quality. I was so happy, I bought them for the entire front of my house,which gets a good amount of sunlight first thing in the morning....

Bought for my Mom. They look simply gorgeous in her newly remodeled bedroom. I have Tafetta blue jabots with these white velvet drapes and then another (inside layer) of sheer embroidered panels. This look is stunning and keeping her room so cozy and warmer! She loves it! These velvet panels are actually being used for Winter to keep the cold out. The rods hang from the ceiling and extend past the windows and cover the window dressing there. Just for Winters.

The curtains arrived yesterday and I hung them right away. The are very great! I ordered burgundy and they are a nice, deep and rich color. Easy to hang (with lots of hanging options) and clearly nice quality. Pros: Great value!...

For the price, these curtains are great!!! You can certainly buy higher quality curtains than this but you will pay 4x the price. I just ordered two more! They really do black out (even the off-white color).

Firstly, the drape fabric is soft, and substantial, and the color is a light gray. They are well-made, room darkeners, beautiful and drape well. I used heavy duty rings and clips. Don’t hesitate to purchase...as you will be pleased!!!...

Wow, Java color is rich, they feel and look beyond expectation! Very pleased! Sewn and made to perfection, really top notch manufacture! The backing is soft thick material as well, no light gets through if using them as blackout curtains, backing fabric is but not the same color as drapes - backing is fabric is white. Would have liked the backing fabric to be dark as the curtains but I give these 5 Stars regardless!!...

The off white reminds me of antique white not as bright as I was hoping for but they block all incoming light very well plus I don't feel the radiating cold air coming off of the window anymore. These are great curtains for a bedroom or cinema room but they weigh about 7lbs each so make sure you have a sturdy curtain rod

These are really lovely quality drapes--heavy and lined, as described. The cream/ivory color, which I ordered, is definitely a creamy oyster. They do a fantastic job of blacking out all light. Highly recommended....

So happy I ordered these! I bought them hoping they would help block out those hot summer rays, and help to keep my house cool. Also, so I wouldn't have to run my A/C so much. And, they do all of those things! They COMPLETELY block out the sun and keep it cool.They're quality made, and are actually really pretty. TIPS/ADVICE: The fabric is durable and a little heavy so you will need a good, sturdy curtain rod to hang them on.

These curtains are fantastic and at an affordable price to boot. The silver-gray color was exactly as pictured and the quality of the velvet was better than I expected. The curtains didn't move super well on the rod, so I opted for the clip curtain rings since I do open and close them every day, but aesthetically, they looked great pre-rings. Would purchase again!

I purchased them for a bit of color pop to my living room but mostly I got them to keep out the hot sun that directly hit my sliding glass door and to help keep the cold out when it snows here and they work extremely well for those two situations. Being a designer, I love high-end items for my home. As I cannot always afford my own taste, I like to look for items that look and feel high-end but have a great price point. These curtains are just that!! They are not only aesthetically pleasing but they perform well. No light escapes through them as they are double-lined. The hand of the material coupled with thickness make them look so luxurious. I love them so much I am purchasing more for other rooms in my house.

The quality of these drapes is superb and they are fully lined. I have purchased these drapes in two colors; off white and navy. They do require pressing or steaming before hanging as wrinkles will not fall out but it is well worth the effort. Highly recommend....

I am absolutely in love with these drapes! They are a perfect neutral shade of ivory. They are heavy and well-made. The light-blocking may not be 100%, but it is very, very good. I have them hanging on the back tabs, and they drape beautifully - sort of like a pinch pleat, but more casual. The velvet is soft and beautiful. Yes, they are pricey, but well worth it! I am considering these for other rooms as well, I like them so much....

These are absolutely beautiful. I needed something quite simple, but it needed to look expensive. The quality is impeccable. I am in love with these. I have quite an obsession with window coverings and these by far beat my pottery barn curtains. I will be doing my whole house in these as I save up for it.

These curtains are so luxurious! They are heavy and work well for blackout curtains but the velvet is light and looks great. The fact that you can hang them three different ways is very nice too. I absolutely love these drapes. They are super thick. They are velvet. I have them in cream. No wrinkles, well packed. They are very classy, in the formal living room. They are quite formal, not casual. I think I will use them in the fall, winter, spring and then switch to lightweight linen in the summer. Definitely worth the price, I actually paid much more than this for some sub par curtains in my bedroom.

These curtains are pretty and they drape beautifully. The velvet fabric has a rich sheen and provides a slight texture to lightly contrast against plain walls, and the insulation keeps out the light and the heat/cold radiating through the windows....

OMG! These drapes are fantastic! Thick fully lined and well made panels that look rich, have a plush and soft hand feel. I got 4 panels in the silver gray color to cover an 8 ft sliding glass door in the front of my house. The color was a medium neutral gray with a soft sheen and turned out to be perfect.They block out all the light. However they are VERY heavy. I painted a steel pipe to use as a curtain rod, but the holders came out of the wall because it was not drilled into the studs. I highly recommend for those looking for that rich velvet look....

For the price I think they’re lovely. I ordered two panels for a picture window in the 50” width which was stupid instead of 100” now I’ve tried to order two more panels and they don’t have. Disappointed. I decided to put blinds in window and put panels on ends. I have to get new curtain rods now also. Should have sent back.

I received the navy blue curtains and I absolutely love them! I was a little skeptical with how they were going to look, but the color is perfect and the blackout all the light coming in from my street at night. They really make my room feel warm and comfy as well. The navy I will say is a dark navy which is what I wanted but when I opened them up I thought at first they were black. But they are the perfect navy color I wanted, anything lighter and I would have sent them back. This was a great purchase!

Really high-quality, and the color is just subtly off-white. Didn't want bright white. I have some white linens in the room near it and it doesn't clash or look dingy. Just gives the other whites in the room some depth. They really are blackout and they have back tabs. Hang beautifully....

These curtains are great heavy duty and classy at the same time. Keeps out the light so I can sleep and also helps keep the cold and drafts down too. Looks like something you would see at a high end hotel.

Purchased both the off white and ivory, found the ivory pinkish during the evening. Off white was perfect, nice and thick, soft to touch. Seems very well made with weights at bottom, seams, etc. Very happy!

I bought 2 Basque Green 50x96 panels and will hang them tomorrow. The construction of the drapes and material is very nice quality and I'm very happy with them. The color is perfect for my color scheme and I'm really excited to get them up! All they need is a light ironing with steam to get the packaging creases out and they'll be good to go!

For the price these curtains are awesome, very silky velvet feel and they have weights on the bottom so they lay properly. I will say I had a hard time finding the right colors but the customer service has been awesome to work with!! Gray set was beautiful but color didn't match what I needed (but if it did would recommend). I did try the ivory and the color is not a traditional cream color its more of a linen cream/tan if that makes sense. Best I an describe is more like a very light tan. I am not trying the off-white with hopes that color works!! But if you can find the color you want, def get these! price and quality you can't beat!...

These curtains are amazing! I bought them in ivory, so they’re a neutral bone color, looks crisp and clean against my darker matte gray walls. No need to iron them, since they straighten out over a few days after taking them out of the package. A small amount of light shows through, because of the light color I chose, but perfect for blocking out the heat of the afternoon sun. Soft velvet touch, like a micro suede texture. They have weights at the bottom, helping them to hang nicely. I used curtain pins and hooked them to rings; easy to draw open and close. Really gorgeous!

Very happy with the quality, although in the picture the ivory looks like hombre, as if it is a little darker at the bottom. I would have liked that effect, but they are a solid light cream color. I hung them right away and will steam the wrinkles out soon. I sew and could not have made anything like this for the cost. Value is great, well made. Just not an hombre color, if that is what you are looking for. They are packaged well for delivery also. I will try to post a picture after I get the wrinkles out. They have good insulation value and are pretty to boot...

Great drapes! I was nervous having looked at the free swatch, because the swatch didn't have any blackout qualities to it. But the drapes block the light, summer heat and a fair bit of noise wonderfully. They hang well, feel great and making the room look finished....

These velvet curtains are absolutely beautiful and the quality is superb! They look and feel very high end. I ordered the natural gray and they are very true to the online image. They block out ALL light and are great when watching a movie. Side note the panels are extremely heavy so make sure your curtain rod is substantial.

The BEST curtains I have ever purchased! I have paid way more for way worse quality. These are a very heavy, durable material. SO soft. They look like they are custom made. I love the variety of ways to hang them. I wish they had instructions for how to use the pinch pleat pins, but I will figure them out and use them soon. It was really nice that they came with those! I will be ordering more sets for both guest rooms and our living room, eventually. I ordered the "off white" color and it is perfect. Not too white, and not too cream either. Perfect shade! This is the second set of these drapes that I have purchased. They look very rich, hang beautifully, and really block the light! I used hooks and rings to hang them, not rod pockets/loops so the tops are tight to the wall. Colors run true. Pros: Look expensive. Great colors. Hang beautifully. Cons: Not really a "con" but use a heavy-duty rod...drapes are heavy....

These drapes are well made. I bought them again and will buy them again. I have a stucco house in NewEngland so this Winter I am going to cover all the windows with these fabulous drapes and hope for the heat to remain inside while they keep the cold out! I have a contractor coming to hang the rods from the ceiling. When it’s done I’ll add a photo or three.

Bought these for our nursery. Made map time during the day so much better! Even in the white color we got it still blocks the light really well. Room isn’t pitch black, but it makes the room dark enough for sleeping even during super sunny summer days. Our daughters room tends to run hot in the summer and cold in the winter and these really help with temperature regulation especially in the winter. The weight of the fabric is very nice and I love the velvety finish. They look like much more expensive curtains. I’ve paid more than twice as much for curtains that were not nearly as nice. The. popcorncolor is very nice. Off white but not yellowish. It’s modern off white.

The packaging was better than expected which created minimal wrinkle, and kept the integrity of the product protected; easy to get out with an iron on med-low temp. I bought the burgundy color and am so impressed with the way these curtains show in my dining room. I sprayed them with a water bottle and used the dryer steam setting - every wrinkle is gone and they hang beautifully. I'm planning on buying the Java for the living room....

I have two extra now because they are so thick and perfect I didn't need to use 8 on my windows like with past treatments. I ordered these drapes in ivory for our master bedroom. They are beyond beautiful. Excellent quality, heavy but soft velvety fabric - not the thin flimsy material available in stores today. This makes them hang beautifully. "Velvet drapes" sound old, dated, and grandmotherish but these are nothing like that - they are "Manhatten modern elegance". They are perfect in every way!...

I am using these blackout window treatments in our master bedroom. I had these window treatments mounted up high above the windows and open them every morning and close them at night. They are well made, lined and weighted in the corners, and definitely block out the light for restful sleep....

These velvet drapes are absolutely beautiful! I ordered them in gunmetal gray and they are stunning. Very high quality with thick cotton lining for complete black out and weighted hems. Gorgeous curtains - super soft and thick. Really a great deal. I use them in my basement theater which has a pretty good size window. Great for sound absorption as well - tamed a few reflections I was having. Packaged very nicely too - they came in a long rectangular zippered plastic bag, which meant less folding and less wrinkles. Highly recommend these curtains....

Bought these in the off white color. Absolutely gorgeous! They block a lot of light in our very bright bedroom, but they aren't 100% light blocking curtains like I was expecting. I noticed Half Price Drapes has a selection of curtains labeled "Max blackout" ... apparently thats what you need to buy if you don't want any light filtering through at all. I was hoping for total darkness, but now that I have these, I am satisfied and I wouldn't return them.
