Mix it with other fabrics

Velvet should never be the only fabric you use in a room. Even when you use it in one spot, try to make it a part of other fabrics. Skip the walls

Pair up your colors carefully

A little velvet can go a long way if you pair up your colors correctly. For example, let’s say you have a beautiful blue couch with flecks of red.
