The HPD swatch program exists because color on a screen and color in your room are two different things. Monitor calibration, room lighting, wall color, and flooring all affect how a fabric color reads in a space — and a curtain is a significant purchase to get wrong.
Every swatch is a physical sample of the exact fabric used in the finished product — the same weave, the same color, the same finish. Hold it against your wall, your sofa, your existing soft furnishings. Check it in natural light and artificial light. Feel the weight and texture of the fabric. If the swatch looks and feels right in your room, the finished product will too.
Up to 5 swatches are free — no minimum order, no shipping charge on the swatches themselves. Additional swatches are $0.99 each. Swatches ship via USPS First Class and are typically delivered within 5–8 business days.
Swatches are available across the full HPD range — curtains, Roman shades, tie-up shades, velvet, blackout, linen, printed cotton, faux silk, and more. If a fabric is available as a swatch, the Get Swatch button will appear on the product page.
