White Solid Faux Silk Taffeta Curtain

They are thick and beautiful, and do a good job of blocking out the sun even though they are white. They just need to be ironed when you take them out, that's it!

After trying two other colors of the same style, these were exactly what I was looking for! They look expensive and are made well. The heaviness of the material will be great in the winter months to keep the warm air in.

I love the look of these curtains! I purchased 4 panels. They in fact are white and not cream and hang beautifully. I bought the wooden curtain rings and clipped them onto the back of the curtain hook strip, so I could open and close them easier. They are very well made and because of the three layers, are quite heavy. They look beautiful in my home!

Incredible workmanship! Great value. Color is true to pictures. Very heavy. I am using them in a vacation home in a room that gets a lot of sun. I did not want to have a real silk for wear and potential for sun fade.

My husband is in the military and we move quite a lot. Living in a Japanese home with large windows, it was difficult to find window coverings big enough, let alone of a decent quality. SO glad I took a chance and ordered these online. I received them in about three and a half weeks (not bad considering the distance) and was delighted to see that the curtains in fact exceeded my rather high expectations. Most homes in Japan seem to utilize traverse rods exclusively - our home had them installed in every window - so the drapery hook belt was a life saver! When we move, these curtains are coming with me.

These faux silk panels are a great buy. I wanted something pretty, soft, and substantial. These drapes have it all. I ordered white for my guest room and was pleasantly surprised by the weight of these panels. They are lined and offer privacy and are just the finishing touch to my windows. If you are looking for a "silk" drape without paying the price for silk try these.

True white curtain. Very heavy, lined. Very nice quality. Look beautiful in our bedroom with our espresso painted walls.

These are not WHITE curtains when hung in a window- they are a beautiful cream color when hung. The lining is cream, so when the sun comes through they look cream colored, was not what I expected, but they were still so beautiful with a nice sheen, so I put them in my family room and they look like beautiful in there with my cream colored sofa. I LOVE them. BUT THEY ARE NOT WHITE if you putting them in a sun filled room

This drapery panel is thick and luxurious. It's silky without being too shiny. I'm so glad that the color is a true, bright white. I didn't have to return it.

I am very happy with my purchase. The curtains are indeed white, not cream or off white. The lining, however, is cream, which may cause the curtains to look cream/off white when the sun shines through. I have not hung the curtains as yet. Though it would be nice if HPD can use white lining , especially to line beautiful white curtains like these. They are really beautiful and heavy. Good job, HPD. They do look expensive. I am looking forward to ordering the white linens.

I bought 2 panels and I love them. I hung them the same day without any ironing. They are very well made and doesnt block out too much sun. Just perfect!

Beautiful curtains. Very heavy with the lining and backing! I wanted white white curtains and they are, though the backing isn't true white and when the sun shines on them, it does give a yellowish tint. They also required much ironing to get out the folds that perhaps originated when they were sewn. I wound up buying 4 panels for a full look and I'm very happy with their elegance.

That these panels are lined and interlined makes them hang very well. This is a white polyester that works well with white sheets/bed linens. It is not an off white. However, like most white curtains, they are somewhat translucent with sunlight streaming through even with the interlining. They are very well made, for the price; and look more expensive than they cost.

Bright white tafetta adds a bit of elegance to my nursery. I hung them almost to the ceiling for a dramatic effect.

Beautiful, well-made drapes right out of the box. White is a slightly off white but not too much. Curtains have a slight sheen but not a lot and it enhances them. Not shiny at all. Hung them on windows on third floor beach house. Wanted to make the bedroom spa-like. Curtains look great.

These curtains are perfect. I ordered for each of my girls who are 2 1/2 and 5. I figured they would last a while, even with room changes and was happy to spend a little more for quality curtains. I'm very excited about the quality and how they have a slight shine (but not too much shine) to them making them look elegant. Their are three levels of fabric, the actual lining, an inner fleece lining and a backing. When the light shines through them, they do have a slight cream color. Otherwise they are very white and give my girls rooms a nice elegant feel. They go wonderfully with my girls white furniture in the light purple room and natural furniture with light yellow walls in the other. They have just the right amount of fullness as well.

These drapes look great and the length is perfect. They are very heavy and pure white. I did notice that if the sun shines through the panels you can see the in-seam so I just moved them to the side a little more...problem solved!

Nice curtains. No pop! Pure vanilla if that is what you are looking for.

I received my 10 panels for my very Restoration Hardware-decorated room. They look like wedding dresses hanging from iron rods. :-) I wanted white panels to contrast against my taupe paint and dark Brazilian wood floors. They do the trick and are very thick. I will say that I made a judgement call based on reviews that these were vanilla because that's what I wanted. No, they really are white. Now I realize that other reviewers are referring to how the light filters in through the fabric. Yes, the lining is a beige so they take on an off-white when the sun is coming from behind. Love that! At night, they are very dupioni silk-like with a high sheen and quite white. I tried the faux silk because this is a high traffic room and I didn't want little fingers on real white silk. I do wish I had gotten linen or just paid the money for silk now though. I own many panels of the pewter and cashmere Signature silk 108" . Faux just doesn't compare. Still, I highly recommend.

These drapes ARE WHITE, NOT CREAM OR IVORY. They're beautiful. They're heavy duty lined with cream canvas. I think they're very much worth the money. Although they really don't look like authentic silk in person, they're still highly recommended.

These are very heavy and block the light very well even though they are white which is exactly what I was looking for. They are a little different sheen than I expected (a little like a shiny) but they are nice and i will be keeping them.

Very Elegant I am thrilled with my new curtains! The faux silk is so gorgeous and elegant. They are very heavy and block out a decent amount of light for white curtains, but definitely not blackout if that's what you're looking for. I did have to iron all of them which took a while, but it was worth it. The color is a pearly white, not cream, which was perfect for me. Overall, a very good value for the price, especially at this length.

Beautiful These are beautiful and fit well in our Mastersuite. I did not have the issue others did with the lining not being white white. I also hung white sheers with these and sheer white scarf. We have white white crown molding and trim and these look beautiful, really light up the room but when closed they darken.
