How does a tie-up shade hang and how do I adjust the height?

HPD tie-up shades hang via a 4-inch pole pocket that slides onto a curtain rod up to 1½ inches in diameter — the same installation as a standard rod pocket curtain. Each shade has two 70-inch fabric ties that gather and secure the fabric at your desired height. Tie into a bow or knot at the front or back of the shade to create a casual, relaxed look. To lower the shade, simply untie and smooth the fabric back down. Available in one ready-made size: 46 inches wide by 63 inches long. Sold per shade.

Privacy lined tie-up shades block approximately 60–65% of incoming light — meaningful room darkening and strong daytime privacy. Darker colorways perform toward the higher end of this range.
