Striped Hand Weaved Cotton Tie-Up Shades

Hand-woven construction gives genuine artisanal character — natural variation in stripe width, color saturation, and thread tension that machine-made fabric can't replicate. In a tied-up format, horizontal stripes fold into layered bands of color. Privacy lined for 60–65% light blocking.

HPD tie-up shades hang via a 4-inch pole pocket that slides onto a curtain rod up to 1½ inches in diameter — the same installation as a standard rod pocket curtain. Each shade has two 70-inch fabric ties that gather and secure the fabric at your desired height. Tie into a bow or knot at the front or back of the shade to create a casual, relaxed look. To lower the shade, simply untie and smooth the fabric back down. Available in one ready-made size: 46 inches wide by 63 inches long. Sold per shade.

Privacy lined tie-up shades block approximately 60–65% of incoming light — meaningful room darkening and strong daytime privacy. Darker colorways perform toward the higher end of this range. The lining adds body and structure that helps the shade hang and gather more cleanly than an unlined version. For complete darkness, a separate blackout blind behind the shade is recommended.
